KAONA is a songwriting challenge I posed myself - taking a previously recorded demo and coming up with two distinct compositions based on the original motives and chord progressions. The approach that I settled on was to contrast the mood of the two tracks - the first one brighter and entitled “Light” and the other one, called “Dark”, which is self-explanatory.

As I may have mentioned before, these weekly releases are in the main, songwriting exercises, to keep myself creatively fit, for a time in the future when I can utilise these skills once more. So, two songs for a buck, about 10 minutes long, and I hope you enjoy KAONA.
